How are you contributing to
?
We know that people of all ages, all countries, all kinds have their own ways, big
and small, of spreading peace. Nothing is insignificant.
It all counts!
Speak your peace and tell us how you are helping build a more peaceful society and
spreading
how others are contributing to

I just planted an English Oak tree in memory of Mattie J.T. Stepanek and to appreciate his fantastic work on world peace. Check out my map to see where others have planted their Mattie Trees. Wouldn't it be great if we could plant trees around the world so that the sun never goes down on Mattie's memory and his message of peace. And the seeds of his work blossom around the Earth.

Yesterday we planted an "Umbrella tree" for Mattie at our house in Kampala, Uganda. We had over 100 people (mostly youth) there and each of them put a handful of soil into the planting of the tree. I will also mark where the tree is planted on the map David created.

The New York Reality School practices the Three Dot Dash hand signal.
Every day my class comes up with new ways to raise money and be earth-friendly at the same time – such as collecting cans and bottles, then returning them and putting money towards class night and certain school supplies that we need.

It is vital for everyone, no matter how old or young,to contribute to maintaining peace. Our welfare as human beings depends on it and it is our sole responsibility. Walking together hand in hand as people, families, a society, countries, continents and a global village, we can achieve the goal of maintaining PEACE....Let it reign!

"Whenever I see water dripping from a sink, I try to fix it. It's not much, but
I think the environment is a huge issue. And if the environment is bad, there is
no chance for peace."

"Every year I clean out my closet, looking for clothes that I haven't worn in a
while. And I donate them to my local charity. It's hard to give them away – believe
me, I love my clothes – but I figure it's better to have someone else wear them
than have them sit in my closet gathering dust. I hope it's a small bit of comfort
to the less fortunate."
